Covid-19 Testing
Rapid Antigen
STAT Medical Group offers the Quidel Corporation Sofia SARS Antigen FIA test.
This test indicates whether you CURRENTLY HAVE the Covid-19 virus and typically requires a 3 day incubation period between the time you come into contact with the virus and when you are tested.
The specimen is collected via nasal swab. The cotton swab does not need to be inserted deeply into the nasal cavity. It is rotated in a circle around the entire inside edge of each nostril for 5 seconds. Results are available within 60 minutes and delivered either in-person or via email.
Antibody Testing
STAT Medical Group offers the Healgen Antibody Test.
This test indicates if you HAVE and/or HAVE HAD the virus in the past and typically requires a 5-10 day incubation period between the time you come into contact with the virus and the time you are tested.
The specimen is collected via finger prick. A single drop of blood is collected and placed into the test tray. Results are available within 60 minutes and delivered either in-person or via email.
