Meet the Staff

Dr. Homayoun Siman

Dr. Homayoun Siman received his B.S. in General Biology from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) and his M.D. with Distinction in Research from The Chicago Medical School at Rosalind Franklin University. Dr. Siman interned at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York with a focus in Orthopedic Surgery before moving to the Coachella Valley in 2017 to take over practice at STAT Urgent Care. He currently resides in Palm Desert with his wife Janice, three daughters, and golden retriever Marty.

Sara Rismiller PA-C

Sara received her B.S.A. with distinction from the University of Texas at Austin and her MSPAS with distinction from NYIT in 2021. Before joining STAT Urgent Care, she completed clinical work in internal medicine, family practice, obstetrics and gynecology, surgery, psychiatry, and emergency medicine. Her training occurred at New York States’ largest healthcare provider, the Northwell Health System.

Sara has a strong passion to help those around her. This ultimately led her to explore the medical field. One of Sara’s many passions, besides the sciences, includes traveling. She lived in France for two years in her youth and is fluent in the language. Her other interests include golf, sailing and hiking.
